Q.   Are you a dog friendly venue?

A.    Yes!  Well behaved dogs on leads are most welcome to share your special day with you.

Q.    Will I see the deer?

A.    Stourton Woods is surrounded by deer parks, and you are likely to spot red deer, however we cannot guarantee where the deer will be as they do like to go swimming!

Q.    Do you have a shower?

A.    We have three ‘proper’ toilets next to the safari tent and it is possible to hire in a gas shower unit as an optional extra.

Q.    Can I stay in my campervan/caravan?

A.    We can accommodate all types of camping rigs at Stourton Woods, but we always recommend checking this with the couple who have booked their special occasion with us.

Q.    Where can I stay if I don’t want to camp?

A.    There are lots of great accommodation options locally, for taxi’s and more information for guests and details please have a look here.

Q.    Can I book a band?

A.    Yes, our premises licence permits live music until 23:00 and disco music until midnight.

Q.    When can I visit the venue?

A.    Please get in touch to arrange your venue viewing, we offer a flexible approach with evenings and weekend appointments as well as weekdays.

Q.    What else do you do at Stourton Woods?

A.    In additional to our private event hire we offer a seasonal calendar of public events with something for everyone to enjoy. We have self-guided walking trails and sell a range of products from the farm: Stourton Estates.

Q.     Can I buy venison?

A.    Absolutely! Some couples have had burgers / steaks catered for as part of their wedding breakfast or evening food.  If you would like to try some of our lovingly reared venison please get in touch to check availability and arrange your order for collection.
