Those all important details for guests!

If you’re coming to a wedding at Stourton Woods you will need to know where to find us and some suggestions on where to stay if you’re not local.  We’ve also included some tips on what you might want to wear (or at least bring with you) to make sure you enjoy the day almost as much as the happy couple!

Finding the Safari Tent

Before you get in your car do have a look at the map!  You need to be approaching the venue from the A158 so that you make it to the right place & ready to celebrate at Stourton Woods

When you turn off the A158 please look out for your couples wedding signage & follow what3words \\\headsets.straws.paradise to ensure you arrive at the woodland car park without a hitch!

From here walk up to the safari tent by following the festoon lights.

The perfect outfit

There will be clues in your wedding invitation & what you wear really is entirely up to you…

We just want to point out some practical considerations – the wedding venue here is located in a woodland.  We do have a gravel path to the safari tent which is suitable for wheelchairs and prams, however for those guests thinking about footwear – it might be worth wearing wedges rather than stilletos or having some trainers to bring along as the day progresses to save your shoes & toes!

A beautiful sunny day can never be guaranteed and whilst there is a fire pit outside & log burner inside, you might also want a wrap to keep off any chill when it comes to the evening.

Confetti

Don’t forget your biodegradable confetti to throw!

We have a professional licensed bar on site so please do not bring your own alcohol to the venue.

When you see the safari tent at Stourton Woods you will hopefully recognise the care and attention we put into the venue here so if could ask all guests to respect this so it stays in tip top condition for every celebration it would be really appreciated.
